CICD Pipeline Optimization
I have optimized the product’s CICD pipeline by eliminating unnecessary deployments which reduced deployment time from approximately 8 hours to an hour.
I have also reduced bugs, improved security and improved code quality by integrating quality checks in Gitlab Pipelines, such as integrating automated tests, lint checks, and vulnerability tests into the pipeline.

I, together with my team, significantly improved the product’s frontend design and usability, using Tailwind, Vue and Laws of UX. Along with UX improvements, I have also increased the test coverage of the product, from nothing to 80%, by using combination of Cypress, Mocha and Vue Test Utils, which led to increased developer confidence and productivity. I have also implemented a quality gate to prevent merge requests that reduces the test coverage.

Infrastructure as Code Compliance Engine Project
I accelerated the development of an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) compliance engine which was written in Python, Gitlab CI, and Go. The compliance engine is now being used by the organization to help developers create secure and cost-effective IaC. I have also integrated such engine into CICD pipeline templates which allowed developers to easily integrate the engine and be able get feedback in the early stages of development.
I also presented the tool to the security team and collaborated with them in developing policy as codes (Rego and OPA) which are then integrated to the compliance engine pipeline.
